Frequently Asked Questions

How do I book in?

Please text, email or call (please leave me a message) and I will get back to you as soon as I am free.  Once we have finalised an appointment date and time I will ask for your email address.  You will be sent appointment information, forms and reminders prior to your appointment.  You will be asked to sign a consent form and fill out a Health and Wellbeing form.  It is very important that you give as much information as possible.  There are some conditions which need extra care and attention during massage so it is important that you are accurate and honest with your answers.

What should I wear?

Please note that underwear must be worn at all times.  Any client arriving without appropriate underwear will be asked to leave and re-book at another time.  This is to protect the dignity of the client and the therapist.  No exceptions will be made to this rule.

Please wear clothing that will feel comfortable when lying on the couch.  Belts and buttons can dig into the skin.  Sport clothing is ideal but not essential.

For a leg treatment shorter style shorts are ideal.  It is difficult to manoeuvre around the longer basketball type shorts.  Underwear is also acceptable.

What can I expect during my treatment?

All sessions start with a chat about your health and well being.

If you have booked in for support with a problem, such as an injury, pain, aching, restricted mobility etc, then we will discuss this in detail, followed by an assessment.

The treatment of your choice will follow.  You can choose from a Deep Tissue or Sports Massage session, a therapeutic massage or an Indian Head Massage.

All treatments offered involve massage.  If you have booked in for support with a problem then we may also use other techniques to assist in your rehab.

If you have ongoing issues, then we can also discuss a rehab programme for you to take home to further facilitate your recovery.

What do I need to bring with me?

It would be beneficial to bring a bottle of water with you.  I can provide you with water if needed, but under the current climate it is advisable for you to bring your own.  Other than that, you do not need to bring anything to your treatment session.

What payment methods do you take?

The preferred payment method is via the link on the forms sent to your email.  However, you are welcome to pay via bank transfer or Paypal too.  Please let me know if you would like to pay using cash.  I do not keep cash on the premises so please bring the correct amount as no change can be given.  I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Do you offer same day appointments?

Regular customers are welcome to call or text for same day appointments if there is availability.

New customers are also welcome but all of the forms must be filled out prior to arrival, aswell as payment.
